The purpose of the Groton Business Association is to promote Groton and the surrounding area as a shopping and trading center.  The GBA meets once a month to provide an environment in which businesses, municipal organizations, and individuals can share information and offer support.

NOTE: Our Annual Meeting will be Wednesday, January 20th @ 6pm, at The Masonic Lodge.  We will be voting on our officers, and asking for an amendment to our by-laws:   “Motion: That the provision of the by-laws limiting the President to two terms be waived to permit Janet Jacobs to continue in office for one additional term, there being no other nominees willing to serve in the coming year.”

We will be asking members who wish to be part of the GBA board to consider the position of Events Committee Chairperson.  Our current chairperson, Karen Lane, has served for two years and will be stepping down in June.  She will continue to participate on the committee, and will help acclimate the new chairperson to the position.
